I can’t decide what’s worse to hear, that or “well, there’s nothing you can do”.
Here are some ideas of what can be done to help change things… for the better, for everyone.
Don’t use these products unless they get an “A” from the Environmental Working Group:
scented cleaning, laundry or body products
Call manufacturers and tell them you won’t buy or use products made with cheap, petro-chemicals.
Ask to see the MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheet) and read it.
Ask businesses not to use air fresheners or scented cleaning products.
Ask businesses to use air cleaners and get ftesh air by opening doors and windows.
Call your elected representatives and ask them to do something about toxins in our everyday products.
If your city or building does ‘Scentscaping’ tell them to stop.
Most importantly money fuels change, don’t use yours to support the companies that are poisoning everyone. Let’s make our world a little less stinky together!
